Alright, with LeBron James formally putting his name in the 2010 Dunk Contest in Dallas, I want to know what all the readers think about this.
Do you think he will go through with it and actually enter?

Who do you think will enter the challenge of battling LBJ in the Dunk Contest?

What kind of creativity do you expect from King James?

I call BullSh*t on Lebron. I think he said he would enter, so he could hype the crowd up and give people like us something to talk about for the next year. I looked into the Miss Cleo crystal ball and it predicted an ingrown hair injury that would prevent him from competing. But if he does enter i see him competing verse half man half a season Vince Carter and Kobe i raped her Bryant. Lebron would go with the past and present for the dunks. I feel a Micheal Jordan free thrown line dunk, but Lebron's feet would be 2 steps behind the line. Another dunk would be a windmill dunk on a 13 foot rim.

Idea for one of his dunks:

LeBron comes out with a crown and royal threads, a solid gold color Cavaliers' jersey and does a Rudy Fernandez-esque toss behind the back off the board, takes off, and does his patented full extension power dunk, rattling the rim to the extreme.

LeBron in the post-contest interview is heard saying, "Kobe, tell me how my a** tastes!"

I am not really sold on the fact that LeBron will really man up for the Dunk Contest in 2010, but we can all hope so!

I think that LeBron would pay tribute to Cavalier great Larry Nance and dunk 2 balls. With his jumping ability, I think he could go one step further than Vince Carter (the elbow dunk) and do the arm pit dunk.

He'll mostly face the best of the best, Spud Webb Earl boykins and speedbump

I say that if Lebron enters the dunk contest in 2010, he will more than likely jump over a house and dunk on a 13' to 18' hoop and possibly slide a 720 in there. If this doesn't get all the cheers he wants he'll stack yao ming, shaq, and magic johnson on top of each other and dunk over then, and the kicker is he's going to do it with out getting AIDS. I'm not for sure these are just my thoughts.

That dunk over all them 3 would be over 21 feet high... This would be amazing. I would probably become the biggest bandwagon fan of Lebron James ever...

IF LeBron does compete, I think it's a sure thing that he will win. This year's contest was obviously set up to advance DH and KryptoNate to the finals, so I'm sure the judges would give it to LeBron no matter what.

That being said, I think he would win it hands down. I like the idea of the vintage Jordan charity strip dunk. I would like LeBron to come out with a piece of tape that says "Michael" on it and stick that right on the stripe. Then disappear and come out with a piece that says "King James" and put it a foot or so behind the line. We all saw his dunk earlier this year (in game) where he took off from with his foot on the foul line while he was being chased by two defenders. LBJ could easily throw it down from a foot behind the line.

I would also like to see him throw it down on a 12+ foot hoop. The commentators this year were going on and on about how DH is the only guy in the NBA that can jump that high. He did such a LAME dunk on the hoop that it wasn't that impressive to watch. LeBron with a windmill on a 13 foot hoop would be VERY impressive.

One last idea that might be neat--everyone jumps over one guy. Well why not a few? I say we line up our guards (MO, Delonte, Boobie) and have LeBron jump over all three (plus Z if he's feeling crazy) and slam it home.
